ST. FRANCIS AND ANIMALS
St. Francis of Asissi was an associate and supporter of our patron St. Elizabeth of Hungary. In his life he was known for his love for all of God’s creation and his friendships with animals. It is traditional for Christians, on or near his feast day, to honor and give thanks for the animals God who bless our lives and remind us of God’s love.
We’ll gather in our back yard, weather permitting, and celebrate Eucharist at 10 AM. We’ll have a break to have coffee upstairs at 11 AM, and reconvene in the back yard at 11:30 AM for a brief prayer service and blessings. Come to either or both!
