Pentecost celebration
PLEASE wear RED in some form as a sign of the spirit within us all.
We will celebrate Alan's completion of his Lay Pastoral Leader program through the Diocese with a small ceremony embedded in the service. We would like to uphold him with our prayers for his service to St. Elizabeth's.
Please feel free to bring something to share. There will be cake, but we could use some non-caffeinated beverages and fruit of the season. As always in the Episcopal tradition, don't worry if you can't bring something, the food is always delicious and just enough -- it's a mystery!
JUN 14
Adams county pride
The Adams County Pride event is Saturday, June 14, from 11 AM to 5 PM. As we have before, we’ll have a table with fun items to give away and (thanks to Kathy) delicious cookies to share. This year we’ll be next to our friends from Nativity Lutheran Church, who are attending this event as a church for the first time. There will be art, stage events, vendors for food and gifts, and lots of individuals and families having fun together. It’s a wonderful family-friendly event where we’ve carried the message of a loving God to the LGBTQ+ community in Adams County and their families and friends. We have made good friends there, and those who have attended in past have had a great time. If you’d like to come and staff the table for a couple of hours, let PJ or Rev. Terri know when you can be there. We’ll have St. Elizabeth’s T-shirts for you to wear. Due to park renovations, we’ll be indoors this year, so we won’t get rained on! Please save the date – you won’t be sorry!
JUNE 22
ingathering for grace food bank
We’ll be collecting baby supplies and food for our local food bank which feeds and distributes donations to over 600 families each week.
